Widgeon Lake would suit yer needs. It is located near Pitt Lake and is known for having some of the best fishing around Vancouver. It is a bit difficult to get to and therefore does not get any fishing pressure.

If you are willing to drive a few hours, Cathedral Lakes is one of the best hike-in fishing spots in southern BC. There are plenty of lakes to choose from and the scenery is second to none. The turn-off is about 5 minutes West of Keremeos.
