Fished the upper Vedder for a couple hours yesterday. Didn't see or hook into anything that was worth keeping. Nobody else was catching anything either. Just a lot of older/dying chum everywhere.

Fished the upper Chehalis for a few hours in the afternoon but wasn't able to hook into anything either. I was short floating with Roe and tried short floating with spinners. There were a lot of guys catching chromers, but they were all crowded together. A lot of people everywhere!

Nice day to be out; I think Steelhead season is quickly approaching.
