has anybody read the article on bottom bouncing steelhead in the current issue. the store was closing and they were trying to kick me out before i finished reading it. whats up with that,they're advertising bottom bouncing?

I did read the issue as I always do. I don't bottom bounce myself as I am a flyfisher, but the article is quite interesting. There is some good info on Steelhead behavior and feeding habits.
You should read the article it is worth the time.

Bottom bouncing has been around for 50 years that i know of, it is only since the sockeye fishery that the 12 foot leaders have evolved. 24 inch leader ,gooey bob, plastic worm or any other lure of your choice. Method can be quite effective.
