Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a payment from Sharphooks from the FISHING REPORTS section. If so, could you post the mailing address that it came from?

SharpHooks is the only Club that recognizes the value of fishing experience of its members and actually compensates them for the information they share. Substantial portion of all Membership Fees goes back to members in the form of awards for their fishing reports. As of today $3,505.28 was actually paid back to members for sharing their fishing experience!
Currently the Club Fund has $452.82 waiting to be awarded by Members to authors of the best fishing reports. Submit reports and get your share of the pie!

I herd from a source that the owners of this site sold it to the Canadian Government to keep track of people.
All our info had been stored in a database somewhere and we are being tracked for poaching.

I was awarded $2.29 for a report, but am now holding my breath for it, not that I care really...But I would be surprised if anyone ever got any monies recently...

as i understand it awarded money is only usable against membership renewal which i doubt anyone will do more than once. i gave up long ago on reports since noone reviews them...

Well I would disagree on no one reading the reports...In order for me to have been awarded monies, some folks would have had to have read and posted it was helpful.
As well, I know I read the reports on where and what people caught at a lake before going...It is too bad people think like that cause maybe we would have more updated current reports if people did put in their experience at specific lakes, cause I know it is very handy useful information...

im glad someone is doing something with it. when i joined this site no one had reviewed a single report for most of a year i took the liberty to review every single one, and sort the trash, id say 90% of the members who wrote them no longer visit. forgive me for being skeptical.
