Hey guys just joined up and thought that I should say hi - attached are some picks from this summer, didn't get a lot of fishing in but enjoyed the time out. Looking for some info on Alloette Lake caught small trout in the lake - but there's some big lakers or something showing on the sounder. Anyone had any luck with fishing deep with plugs or ???. I live in Maple Ridge but like to crab and fish off Vancouver and the Gulf Islands. An info on Alloette would be great.

Here' a pic of one of my sons with a 28lb Salmon

As stated above, there are a few doorknobs here at this time. Some of us are in the process of trying to get the place cleaned up so just ignore the childish chest pounding of a few of the people on this site.

Those are some sick fish! How big was that biggest one you're holding?

I have heard there is some big trout in allouette but haven't caught anything bigger than 2 1/2 lbs. i hear they are deep and you'll need a down rigger to get them. the area across from the boat launch is suppoedly the most productive and at the other end of the lake near the tunnel to stave. that was where i caught the 2 1/2 pounder. nice fish you got there. we were recently up at roche and hooked a 5-13 rainbow. Hey guys thanks for the welcome. Edzzed nice Rainbow, I was thinking of trying Roche Lake in the early spring, can you take a larger boat in that lake ? Nice to see pics of those Rainbows - Just getting into the fresh water fishing as I spent most of my time fishing the salt chuck.

as far as I know there is no engine size restriction except at one end of the lake where it is electric only. it has signs warning about that. Ed
