Alex88	Posted: 9/23/2007 12:28:13 PM Reply a few buddies and i from vancouver are looking to go for an overnighter somewhere next weekend. we're looking for a lake within a couple hours of vancouver with reasonable fishing and a spot to camp. can anyone help?

Bunzten Lake - Coquitlam Alice Lake - Just Past Squamish Sayaers Lake - Mission Chehalis Lake - Near Hemlock Valley Jones Lake - Near Hope There's quite a few, but the best fishing in BC is up in the Thompson Nicola area if you ask me. Get a fishing guide for that area. 4x4 road mapbook is great to have as well. ez, jase.

Edzzed	Posted: 9/26/2007 7:43:21 PM Reply I may be wrong but believe Chehalis Lake has a bridge out making getting there next to impossible. there apparently is a back road but heard it is definately 4x4. a bc backroads map book will show the route. fisher 696	Posted: 9/27/2007 8:07:46 AM Reply I agree with Edzzed, "Back Road Mapbooks" by Musio ventures is the ONLY way to go. They cover the whole province with 8 or 10 books. They can be found at a lot of gas stations etc. Not cheap......expect to pay 25 bucks or so. Well worth the price. When heading out, I don't leave home without them. I would recommend them to any and all outdoorsmen/women.
