Well my first great experience after 13 years here in BC was definately at Jones Lake.
I had about 25 good hits, 16 on the line and 8 in the boat...talk about great first time trolling experience.
Unfortunately I left a couple rods on the beach (I know, idiot) so I am heading back this Saturday to see if I can find them...and a couple more fish while I am at it.
Does anyone know if and how property is sold up there?? Me and my wife fell in love with the scenery, and thought it to be a great place for a cabin.
We currently have a ocean front cabin on Pender Island, but I have always been more attracted to a lakeside location. Any and all info is again, greatly appreciated...
Man, I love that lake!!!

Its all leased crown land, met a fellow up there on the Sept long weekend that lives up there year round, and he indicated he lucked out getting a lease from an old fella who sold or transfered it to him. I here there is also a potential ski development proposed for the area.

Glad to hear you had a good trip, my girlfriend and I fell in love with this lake as wellthe first time there.
