To me getting out any time to go fishing any fishing is the best day even if you don't like fish to eat or you do like fish to eat its just a good old time to get out and see the sites around B.C i'm not 5 min from the Stave River.I try to get out as much as i can some day no Fishs so day lots, But inhole just being on or need the water is the best time . At time i think you need to be a lawer to fish with all the cap they had put into the book....

I live that close to the stave too. My favorite times are in the summer wading out in shorts in the cool water from island to island and sneaking a mirco leech into the little holes that form at low water. Reaching into the unseen world beneth the surface.
