Eddy	Posted: 8/17/2007 10:16:07 PM Reply I am bummed that there is a bridge out on the way to Chehalis lake. Has anyone heard if it will be fixed? I tried to get through from the Norrish side but hung up in a wash out rutt and had to turn around. There are some nice size silver cutthroat in that river right now hitting shiney muddlers and small light gray wet flys.
ReelWrangler	Posted: 8/17/2007 10:19:25 PM Reply sorry to break the news, i beleive you were lower than the "big washout" there is one that no jeep will make it around, its really deep, we flagged it with tape cause it was hard to see coming upto it. chehalis access i heard was also washed out and will not be repaired, but that one is hearsay. i do beleive if you go up port douglas way you can make it back to chehalis lake still.
Eddy	Posted: 8/18/2007 7:19:23 AM Reply You might be right, I had to turn around after I took a right at the powerlines heading up to the pass from the Norrish valley. Guess I'll hit my spots at the Stave today, black micro leaches work good there with light gear drifted over mud banks this time of year if the water is low and fast.
