ehy all, has anyone fished the coquitlam river, just looking for some trout nearby. went to buntzen today and got skunked. thanks

I think the waters are too murky and too full of silt from gravel mining. The mouth may be worth trying. Check the regs for salmon, I think its only below the Mary Hill Bypass bridge.
Though I havn't really fished it, I think the lakes would give you a better chance. Just my opinion though.

where is the foot bridge and the pipeline, if they are what i think they are, then they are way past mary hill

i'v never fished there, but i think it's within regs, riversprings area, Ive herd of brookies on spinners but have had doubts

there are runs from the lougheed hwy bridge down to the old baily bridge all of these little runs ,riffles should have trout.there are some good spots behind gates park

havent fished it for a while dont think it really matters had good luck in the past with blood worm patterns saw a guy get a real nice 1 to 2 lber on a 52 buick
