When you take into consideration the fact that the owner, killed the lake off in the late 70's, to remove all course fish from the lake. Spent all the money to develope the lodge and cabins, and raises all the fish himself and stocks the lake himself, you gotta throw something his way. He single handedly made corbett lake what it is today. Id bet if you spent a day on that lake you'd be able to justify the fee, trust me.

i can respect he did that much work but a 100$ a day is way out of my budget.

Yes the limit is two fish, none over 5 pounds, the cabins are gorgous, rustic interiors very cozy, and yes if you stay at one of the cabins, you fish for free, and your meals are inclided in the package, food there is unbelievable! he is a world renown cook as well as flycaster. Ill be up there today, ill let you guys know how how it went!

wow...that guy sounds like he really has his shit together! that's awesome. I totally respect the 100$ thing...I can only imagine it takes a lot of work to build a fishery and maintain it yourself...let alone the cost of raising replacement stock. he should just build an artificial spawning stream. that'd be pretty cool. cheers

now that i think of it...he just doesn't fatten them up on feed then put them out there does he? I'd hope the fish grow on insects for the most part. it'd be wierd if it was a fish farm feeling
