Author Topic: Are 22-inch Wheels More Prone to Damage than Smaller Wheels?

Larger wheels, like 22 inch staggered rims can be more prone to damage than smaller wheels. Larger wheels have less tire sidewall height, which means there is less cushioning and protection against impacts. When encountering potholes or other road hazards, it makes them more affected by damage. Larger wheels tend to be more expensive to replace compared to smaller ones. With larger wheels, the tire sidewall becomes shorter and stiffer. This reduced flexibility can lead to a harsher ride and less absorption of shocks and vibrations, increasing the risk of wheel damage.
