exkamiflyfisher	Posted: 7/26/2007 7:25:28 PM Reply Hey, Goin to the kelowna area for a few days. Probably hit OK falls. Where are the best spots to fish from shore in these places? I may get my bellyboat out to hit the lilypads on vaseaux as I hear its good there...but would probably just be casting from shore. Any info/hot lures would be appreciated. probably targetin bass
mcs	Posted: 7/27/2007 8:45:48 AM Reply Tucelnuit isn't that great for bass, nothing big. The river can hold some decent fish, however it has slowed down quite a bit in the last couple of years, you can start at the town bridge in Oliver, then head south and fish the rock walls and pools that you find. Vaseux has been good this year so far, off the shore not bad at all and if you have the chance, i've heard Skaha is supposed to be killer right now. Spinner baits are working good around lilly pads, texas rigging trick sticks, and pumpkin seed tubes are probably your best bet. Use a weedless texas rig set up and throw the bait right where the bass are.
