paulie	Posted: 7/9/2007 3:32:46 PM Reply Im new to fly fishing. I'm heading up to the Yukon next week and would appreciate some help on things such as .... River fishing, sinking or floating line/sinking tip maybe? It's really a motorcycle trip but i'm taking my rod so space is limited. Will be fishing in BC also I hope. Thanks
Louis Vuitton	Posted: 7/9/2007 3:37:38 PM Reply The Yukon has awesome fishing for greyling, trout and whitefish, so i'd take a 6wt if you were limited to only one rod. There is also an abundance of pike and musky and laketrout, but because you will be river fishing, i'd go with the 6wt. Floating and sinktip should cover most of your needs, and for flies, bushy atractor style dries plus some naturals would do it for dry and nymphs and streamers should cover you for wets. If you've never been there, a guide would probably be a good choice.
