The river is murky due to the erosion of the clay banks around Allison pool, go above that and it's quite clear. We went to the boundary hole.....1 fish hooked all morning. Additionally, there is a tree that now leans out into the river. With the water flowing as fast as it is, it becomes very hard to hold yer fish up river. When they run downstream, the tree branches become a problem. In the near future someone will trim them I'm sure. One other minor point, cuz that's just the anal kinda mood I'm in this mornin'. I believe that the "Upper River" begins at Tamahi.

The gates on the Abbotsford side of the Vedder Canal are being kept locked by the city thanks to the 4x4's, quads and motorcycles that like to rip up and down the sides of the dyke and through the riparian zones along the river bank.
