Me aswell, way better than buying them, cheaper too. The best part is using the stomach pump then seeing a specific variation of the insect they're eating.

I do, and have for 17 years on and off.

I tie around 200-250 new flies every year, so I am gettin good at it.

I started tying about 35 years ago and gave it up but took a fly tying course at Trout Water in Kelowna in Jan. of this year and now have tied about 500 this year and sell about 2 to 3 dozen a week to local people who come to Osprey to fish. Great hobby and really feels great when you get a big fish on your home made creation!

This is one that is hot now in the weeds at the west end.

The trout

it's so rewarding to start with a hook and end with a fish
