i haven't been fishing for trout without a downrigger for the last ten years. my grandfather called it the lazy man's fishing. he was an avid flyfisherman as i am not. as a new resident to b.c. from northern ontario i have tried to read as much as i can about the regulations and protocol to river fishing. i am finding the availability of information for trout fishing techniques in my area hard to find tho. would anyone possibly have any sage advice to help a young lad land his first b.c. trout? any advice would be greatly appreciated. i am residing in rossland just up the hill from trail and the columbia river is only a few minutes drive away. hell or high water i am gonna pull something speckly out of there.
