just wondering about the best spots to spin cast or fly fish on the cowichan river, or where to get a map of all the spots!has anyone had any luck ? has anyone fished the nitnat river this year lately i heard its filled with fish.and is there a fly fishing club for girls?any info on any of this would be awsome,(ihave just started getting into fishing)

Hey Fish-chic it's time to fish the Little Q. and Big Q.
It was a great summer again for fly fishers off the beach
north of Qualicum Pinks (every year) Coho and Springs.

where is the cowichan river?

The Cowichan River is on Vancouver Island and runs through Duncan 40min. north of Victoia. Good graval roads most of the way, good for brown trout Bows and Cutts Steelhead Dec. to April. Regs change every five minutes so check before you go.

thanks for the tips ,i have fished the little Q and the big Q and caught some nice fish,is there still alot of fish? i've also fished the stamp,(i caught my very first steel head there)has any one fished the stamp this year?if so lots of fish?did you use a fly or spin cast? i haven't been to cowichan river since the big rain ,has any one been there lately hows the water,fast and muddy? anyways happy fishing!
