Today i met the Fish'n Canada guys! They're doing a shoot in the South Okanagan for big bass and are probably going to Vaseux. They came into where i work, Oliver Home Hardware, and are staying in Osoyoos. I got to meet them and talk with them for a bit, it was awesome. It sounds like they're going to do a shoot in Vaseux most likely, that's the lake a fellow co-worker and I suggested.

Hey I am new to the south okanagan from the "coast" .When is the best times of day and best times of the year to fish the big bass in vaseux I was there 3 weeks ago and it was me and the geese with no bass...
Is oliver hardware the local "tackle" store

Yes, we cary a big line of plugs, spinner and jigs. Elerary, our fishing guy, orders and makes lots of unique stuff that you can't find anywhere else in the Okanagan, maybe even B.C. As far as Vaseux goes, the best time for sure would be the evening. Charteuse green pumpkin seed tubes are by far the best choice for bass at Vaseux. Do you have a boat or are you just fishing from shore?

I'm going to be coming out again from about the 23rd to 28th and plan to try Vaseux again from shore. The stream closure was on when I was out before and I only tried off the highway. Are there better spots?
