OK I am looking for some new places to go!

I am looking for a place that has a nice camping site, good fishing and possibly boat rentals. I know everyone has that one place that they go to every year.

I have been to quite a few places around. I just want somewhere that is clean and peacful with beautiful sceanary.

All and any suggestions are welcomed.

I have never been into the interior as of yet but would love to go. What are some things to take into consideration when making such a trip?
Camping equipment.....?
How much fuel to take into the bush or plenty around...?
Locations for food or bring your own in...?
Types of tackle.... fly's....?
Powerboat friendly lakes or electric....?
Remoteness of the area....?

Basically will a trip into the interior be a "bring everything" trip or are there allot of resources around?

Thanks

You should check out douglaslake.com
There is a whole hand full of lakes in and around there. The Ice will be off very soon, and big hungry rainbows!

Dragon Lake in Quesnel can be exciting just after ice off, should be off quite soon, was up there a week ago, but Marmot, Bouchie, & Dragon were still frozen solid.
Roberts Roost on Dragon Lake has boat rentals.
Pulled a couple of 8-10lbers out of there last fall.

Dragon is a blast just after ice out and has easy access. Where do you want to go in the interior? The lakes mentioned are great. One of my favourite areas is the Kluskus south of Vanderhoof. Try Lavoie Lake in June or early July before it gets too warm. 3-5 lb 'bows (no, I am not kidding, a hoot on light gear.
