Anyone know how the fishing is there? Is it a nice lake to camp at in the summer?

Ice fishing is usually good here. We landed 12 here the day before X-mas, one at about 14 inches. Some really nice Brookies at the mouth of the creek, fishing in 2-6 feet of water.

Any other good lakes around Summerland?

Osprey is really good for hard water fishing, it is out behind Summerland about 50 minutes. I used to ice fish Yellow Lake out towards Keremeos and when I drove by there last week, there must have been 60 or 70 people ice fishing......must be good fishing!!! But I like to fish Darke because there is hardly anybody ever there...

Ya, I like to fish Yellow once a year, pull out some nice bows. I've also saw lots of people out there last year ice-fishing and getting lots of perch aswell as bows.
