Hi Guys, I will be visiting White Rock over the holidays and would like to get in some freshwater fishing. Any suggesstions on places or spots, also tackle and bait suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help
Jlow

I also should add that I will not be fly fishing. I have read that 184 st. on the Nicomel river is a good spot?

Hey Jlow, I live in White rock and this time of year sorta bites ass for fishing, more mud than fish, but you can try the hole on 12th ave off 176 st- ( only open below the bridge, and as far as openings just check the regs to be safe) and if you like the saltwater thing try the cresent beach peir for big old mud sharks, its kinda fun.Just rig up some nice fresh bait and fling it out as far as you can and wait, be sure to use lots of wieght and try to go at night on slack tide and you will for sure catch some big ol sharks. Good luck!
