Can I catch carp around Victoria?

Elk lake and thetis lake have carp, if you fish thetis you're more likely to get a catfish than a carp though. not alot on the island for carp fishing. I've been fishing Elk lake for 18 odd years and only ever seen 2 carp taken out of there and 1 out of thetis in the same length of time. I don't know if Langford lake has any, anyone else want to chime in?

I dont live on the island but my cousin was talking about hooking up a carp at kemp lake (just out of sooke ) while he was fishing for smallmouth with a worm,im not tottaly positive cause it was a long time ago, but its warm muddy water so its very possible good luck!
