Just wondering when the last of the Coho would be running up any local rivers. I won't be able to get out fishing for a while, and am wondering if there will be any around in a couple of weeks? I'm thinking the Stave River or Vedder

Try Dewdney Slough(or Nicomen slough depending on how you call it). You need either waders or a boat but if you can get out far enough, you will probably hook into some coho.

If you live in vancouver try the cap, water is roaring and in the slower pools you can fish for coho now. I got 1 yesterday and it was a hatchery but i didn't keep it, i suggest to realease it though. not too many in there. on the fraser and tributaries too much raintoo fast has caused poor water visibility and bad fishing.
