Hi there
I am after some advice please.
I am coming to the Island next September 2019 along with my my long-suffering non-fishing wife.
Can anyone suggest a good place for us to stay where I can get a couple of days guided fly fishing where she will also have plenty to do.
I have had a look on the internet but am struggling to find anywhere that doesn’t want to charge me thousands of dollars to take a full boat for 2-6 people when there will be little old me fishing.
I would also quite like to stay somewhere that I can have an hour or two in the evening right outside the door.
So far all we have are return flights from the UK into Vancouver but are planning at least a week on the Island during the trip. I am really open to suggestion.

Are you looking for trout or salmon? Vancouver Island is more famous for salmon than trout.

I will fish for anything. I plan to have at least one day guided but would love to stay somewhere I can get the gear out and have a good chance of catching something close by.

September is prime coho season. You could book a guide for a day anywhere on the island. Where are you planning n staying?
