Sigh.....
I'm sorry, but seriously, do you really expect anyone to answer a question like that?

There are very limited opportunities for salmon fishing in the Port Coquitlam area. Consult the B.C. Freshwater Salmon Supplement Region 2 for openings. If the "river" isn't listed there's no fishing for salmon. Good luck!

Always check both the Freshwater Regulations (Provincial) and the Salmon/Finfish regulations -Tidal and Freshwater (Federal)before heading out. When trout fishing at the mouth of the Coquitlam river(downstream of the Maryhill Bypass Bridge is Tidal), only "hatchery marked" trout(includes char) may be kept and you'll need a "Tidal" licence. Upstream of the "Maryhill Bypass Bridge" you'll need a Freshwater licence and again only "hatchery marked" trout(includes char) may be kept.

The mouth of the Coquitlam is about the only and best place to fish. Good luck.
The Alouette River in Maple Ridge has some fishing, but check out the regs. They are very specific about where you can and cannot fish.
BlueBoy just posted his honey spots. Do you really want everyone to see that when they Google the name of the river and salmon fishing? You'll now be shoulder to shoulder w/ all your new best friends. If you can remove your posts, I suggest you do.

I find Blueboy's posts offensive and/or silly. I followed fetoid's advice and deleted them. This post should serve as Blueboy's last warning. This site is not for posting childish, offensive posts. Not only your post will be deleted.
