hey everyone, hope your enjoying the season. I just relocated to hope, and have fished the skagit but it and silver lake close in november, have no retention and bait ban. I heard emory creek just past hope is good, where it meets the fraser and up the creek. I google mapped how to get there but wanna be sure i dont tresspass as it looks like a campground is the entrance....has anyone fished emory creek? not asking for honey holes, just some basic info on it would be super awesome!
thanks...tight lines

I found Emory Creek fishing pretty good below the railway bridge for Trout, Steelhead, and Northern Pikeminnow. Float-fishing with krill was pretty effective, not sure about up the creek as it has limited access and little water in it much of the year. There is access to the mouth area from the Provincial Camp Ground on the North side of the mouth and the hwy pullout south of the bridge has a trail leading down along the creek to the mouth. Up the creek (West of the hwy) is a private campsite that doesn't provide access. There are also trails from the hwy pullout leading to a nice sandy bar just south of Emory Creek that was good for bar fishing on the Fraser River.

Waterbodies listed in the freshwater regulations are "exceptions" to the regional regulations. If you don't see it listed, then just follow the Regional regulations.
