I know this website is for BC, but I am going on a trip over august to the us and i was wondering if anyone knew any really goods spots in the following states. 
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
Colorado
New mexico
Arizona

Hey,
Just open Google maps, follow the road you will be taking and look for lakes along the way. Once you found one that looks good Google the name and see what comes up.
I do lots of exploration fishing that way.

It went great! found some amazing lakes, one in colorado I caught 5 18inch (all the exact same size) rainbows, boy did those taste good.
