I'm out around the Penticton area this week and I was thinking about trying some fly fishing. I've heard the Similkameen is a good river, I'm just curious how the water conditions are? Any suggestions where I can drop in?

Rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, and longnose dace are the dominant fish species resident in the basin. Many of the Similkameen headwater lakes are stocked with rainbow trout and eastern brook trout for angling,
