Anyone have luck fishing serpentine in river? Not looking for trout/salmon, just trying to catch some bluegill/pumpkinseed/panfish for fun
Are there any other winter fishing spots in the south surrey area that have small game fish?

Those fish aren't active in the cold months, gotta wait for warmer/spring. Best bet for that sort of fishing right now is perch off the shore in the ocean.

Any dock/marina in the salt will have perch/ shiners.

Paddled Serpentine river from dam to highway bridge yesterday. A seal was there. I believe he knows what he is doing. But I did not detect anything.

Seals enter virtually all rivers during many times in the year. That means absolutely nothing. He is doing what you were.. lookin for food lol.
