anyone here currently fishing for rainbows in Elk Lake? Been out a few times since last year and haven't hit a thing. Checking the reports weekly, say highway side is producing, even trying the "powerbait off the fishing pier is producing as well" thing, just made my fingers smell like play-doh. any reccomendations on terminal, bait, etc. would be greatly appreciated (please bear in mind I am stuck fishing from shore -- but it beats a day at work anytime). thanks.
P.S. is PowerBait high in cholestorol?

I trolled through the middle about a month ago and caught a big one.

I got some great action last week just fishing from shore on the highway side with a rainbow spinner, landed 8 'bows over 2 days and lost about 10 others.
