Just wondering if there is fish i didn't know about

Dec 31, 2:00pm. Hooked one huge steelhead, it run out 70 yard without stop. Break off after 5 mins.
Jan 01, 8:00 am. one 1lb cutthroat,
9:00 am. one 1.5lb cutthroat,
10:00 am. one 1lb cutthroat. all in one run

where are you getting cutthroat?

I'd guess the Vedder but if you did some exploring the Stave or Harrison will have them as would the Allouette, Kanaka Creek, the Fraser...get the point. You want to hear about fish you do not know but say nothing about what you know. Not a good question Gray!

Spent a couple of wonderful hours on the South thompson today. Went with the resident expert to his secret hole. Should have been there yesterday he said as it was too calm today. We did get 2 fish each, his biggest about two pounds. Nice silver trout. Fish for dinner tonight, fresh from the river!

The South Thompson River downstream from Chase. The secret holes are everywhere along the river. You just need to put some good roe on the bottom and they will bite.

I`m getting dusty and just dreaming to stop by ASAP , but weather is pretty brutal

Went out today and finally got into some steelhead ?? 2 wild and a hatch I bonked for the smoker...cut a piece off for my new puppy Shelby to try??

Good to hear from you.....funny I was thinking about you yesterday wondering how you were doing this year. My thoughts must have been good karma!! (wish I was your pup getting fresh steelhead for dinner !!)
