I'm looking on eBay for cheap fly rods (I have never fly fished before) and I found one I like and it is extremely cheap, but, it is a 8wt and I feel I'd be better suited for a 5/6wt. Does anyone have a fly rod their willing to sell for cheap?

Depends what you want to fish for on the fly rod.
If it's for salmon then the 8 weight would be a good all rounder, although possibly a little heavy to start learning on, but that would be dependent on the make and model of the rod. It would be to powerful for most trout but may be under gunned for chum and definitely Chinook.
If you are looking to fish for trout and possibly smaller salmon like Pinks (coming to a location near you soon!) or Coho, then a 5 or 6 weight would probably be better.
You can buy a decent 5/6 wt single hand rod, reel and line combination from Cabelas and some tackle stores for $120-140, which are very good value for money.
Alternative check out the buy and sell on other forums like Fishing with rod, FlyBC, PNW Fly fishing or Spey pages.
