This fish came out of Levette Lake in Squamish. Evans Lake has a warning about "white worm infestation" though I have never seen this in a fish from Evans Lake. Seems like many fish in Levette have these hard white lumps. On the organ cavity lining and some fish even in the meat itself.
With proper freezing and thorough cooking, is there any risk in eating fish which have this infestation?

I suggest you seek help from an expert first. I would definitely not to eat a fish that has something like that. I think I have seen it somewhere in the tele. See this news.

If I were you, I don't take the risk to eat that. It's better to look for a safe fish for you to eat.
