Thanks. Do you live down there then. I worked there for 18 months and was sure I'd seen carp but never managed to catch one in the lake. plenty in the ponds around there though.

I live in Vancouver but don't have much luck catching anything over ten pounds. Okanogan holds bigger fish so I like to go there when I get the chance.

if your local we should get together some time I know a few spots for big carp. I don't like sharing info online as too many people here in Canada eat them for some reason and before you know it they are all gone. My buddy lives in eastern europe and there's only fish in private lakes and they have to be guarded.

Hopefully you aren't practicing C&R... Maybe fun to catch but are an fast moving invasive species in BC waters.
