Author Topic: Where would I go for Rainbows?

Where would I go to catch some rainbow trout at this time of year?
What would I use? (Bait, Spinner, Spoon, etc.)
Boat or shore?
And any other info you feel like sharing
Knnn

With most of the rivers starting to hit freshet, your best bet would be lake fishing.

Locally, try the stocked lakes, more information regarding lakes and recent stocking reports can be found here:

Less locally interior lakes toward Merritt, Kelowna and Kamloops are fishing well with chironomids, but generally you will need a boat or pontoon or you can rent a boat at some of the bigger more popular lakes.

What area are you in? There's tons of opportunity to target rainbows this time of year but hard to give you local (to you) info without know where you are or how far you wanna drive
