Hello all, I was just curious if anyone has headed out to Mabel lake fishing yet this year (just outside Lumby) I'm gonna be heading out there tomorrow.

instead of always asking and saying nothing, why do you not report back as to how you do. Mable is usually very good right now fishing from shore or bucktailing/trolling close to the surface.

We went out there today trolling Micro - leeches. We lost one and didn't have a bite the rest of the time. I think it might still be a little early.It didn't look like others had a lot of luck out there today either.

We went out to Mabel again yesterday, the fishing is starting to pick up a bit. My dad got this nice 5 pound rainbow, as well as another one about 3 pounds.

Very nice fish. Thanks for letting everyone know. The fish in Mable are very tasty.

Ya it was a good day. Ya they are tasty. Got it sitting in Brine to be smoked tomorrow.
