I got a sweet deal on this little two seater

It's a rotorway 162
It's a bit older but only has just over 2000 hours on it with a freshly rebuilt engine
Really good for a starter and that's all I can afford. I had been looking at single prop float plane but I decided on the heli because you can really access a lot more lakes with it, you don't need as much room for landing/ takeoff. Also the added bonus with the rotorway is it just uses pump gas 91 or higher so I'll be saving my money on fuel costs.

what type of power plant does it have?

It's called an RI 16f 4 cylinder I'm not sure the displacement but it's fairly small considering that it puts out 150 hp

Jimmy I have no background in aviation, I've been wanting a small aircraft for awhile now I had been looking at single engine light aircraft and I found a smoking deal on this heli. I'm going to be doing my flight training at Langley airport and I still have to book my radio course.

great stuff Abe, very interesting. Keep us posted on your
efforts. Langley Airfield is a fun place, I visited the museum not to long ago, and thoroughly enjoyed my day.
