Sinyk	Posted: 8/10/2015 10:16:50 AM Reply Well since this lake doesn't have a fishing report option, I thought I would make a forum post instead. We went there yesterday bright and early and were surprised to see how low the lake is! It must be down about 6 feet this year compared to last year. The lake was reading about 11-14 feet for the most part, but there is a long section across from the camp site before the first skinny island that is maybe 2ft deep, so beware! There are rocks just below the surface. The fish were biting frequently, but we weren't hooking anything until around 10:30. We only caught 3 rainbow about 12-13", mostly in the area between the skinny island and the large island, which measured between 5-11 feet with one large area at the south in the 20-26 foot depth. The only thing I caught on was a silver Deadly Dick and my friend caught his with a gold and silver apex 1.0. I tried all of the usual lures and flies I catch with elsewhere with no luck. So if you go there, beware of sudden depth changes due to the lake being so low and wind.
