Hey all,
I'm considering heading up to Kane Valley next weekend to try my luck. Anyone been up there recently or at the end of April in past seasons?
I'm fully expecting cold nights, but wondering if there is any snow or ice I should be aware of. Not sure which lake I'm going to try yet either so some insight into that would be very much appreciated. I've got an itch and need me some outdoor action.

My uncle lives a block away from the kane valley turn off said their was a dusting last night but ice is OFF!! Kane lakes would be very productive chronimid fishing if your useing gear i cannot help as i dont use gear in lakes its against my beliefs lol but best of luck up their i might see you up their as i had the same idea.... Should be the perfect weekend warm and sunny , keep your eyes open for the hatches when it warms up a little bit and your day will be successful..... Tight Lines

20 to 30 years ago that is all I seen been used was gear when I was fly fishing and nobody chrony fished back then I would just drag my flies around like I still do to this day ,but one thing does bug me about chrony fishing is they anchor on all the shoals and then get upset when you troll by or I nail one in another hole and then they all anchor where I got it some need some fishing etiquette we all need to share the lake.Oh and you might see me also on the weekend lol

what is the best fly patter to use in these weedy lakse a leech or damsle, choniamid fly anyone know ?
