When could we expect the white springs to start trickling into the lower portions of the vedder? I have been catching jacks but haven't seen any full size white springs

a 10lb Chinook is bigger than a jack.. Not quite sure but I think it 50cm in the vedder and under for jack size. Thats a small adult

Yes, the chinook I caught was 55 cm approx and 10 lbs so He would be considered a small adult. Fishing is spotty. The rains need to come. Also spoke to a commercial gill netter on the Fraser , 400 sockeye caught only a couple Of Chinook and no Coho yet. So they must still Be on their way.

Speaking of Chinnook,
A couple weeks back while the floss gang was out in full force having their fun, the wife and I took a cruise in the boat and still managed to find a small piece of Fraser River bar with no-one on it.
The weather could have been better as it was good for 10 minutes then bad for 20 with some torrential downpours.
Anyway, We decided to toss the bar rigs out for a bit and while my wife didn't have any luck on this day, I myself was rewarded with this beautiful chrome Chinnook which boasted some delicious red meat. We had some fresh for dinner that night and the rest of it I smoked.......... it's all gone, yum yum !!
My guesstimate was roughly 10 to 12 lbs, give or take a pound or two.
Going again this weekend as the weather is supposed to be terrific.
