Topic: Crappie fishing lower mainland |

Hi I have really been try to catch some crappie recently but to no avail. I tried whonnock with worms, jigs and gulp crappie nibbles under a bobber and also some soft plastics I tried both docks and even rented a boat but didn't even get a bite. Is there anywhere else I could go and how should I target them any help would be much appreciated.

If you couldn't catch crappie whonnock lake,I don't think you can catch it anywhere else. Whonnock lake is the easiest place for crappie in lower mainland. Try small bobber/hook around the lily pad next time.

Mill lake in Abbotsford has alot of Crappie. They are under the dock, at least thirty to forty. And also in the shallows. We used to use plain hooks. We caught seven one day with plain hooks.

I can tell u for sure nicomekl river in south surrey has tones of them . right under the bridge on 152st - there is kinda parking on a side and easy access down to the river , but if u face south - u cant go to u right cuz of private property , but u can go left almost till it hits 40th ave . just along there use just a worm and u`ll nail them .

Mill Lake in Abbotsford from has lots of them from what I've heard. I went their about 4 weeks ago at dawn and caught 1 on a top water perch pattern.
