Hi everyone I'm looking for a good campground that offers good fishing by belly boat...my friend and I are planning a 4 day camping trip and we're wanting to hook into some nice fish! Were not wanting to travel more than 3-4 hours out of vancouver. All ideas wanted please!

Rolley lake isn't much more than an hour outside of Vancouver. It's a stocked float tube lake (no motors allowed) with a nice camp site and beach area.

I was at Pennask on Sunday caught over thirty fish in about 6/7 hour, trolling a sinking line (Doc Spratly, Pumpkin head). It's nor a good lake for a belly boat. Just off 97C at Sunset main (2 hours from Chilliwack) are Reservoir, Skunk, Walker which are all real good lakes for belly boats. I've done well at all these spots

Check out Coquihalla Lakes. There is a place to camp. You don't have to stay at the lodge

If your not afraid of a little hike lindamen lake is a sure fish catcher and great view and nice campsites

Like he said...guarantee fish...walk a few more hours an slay em at greendrop...or drive in from ross lake side and dont worry about the hike and just the pristine water and never ending wild rainbows that eat anything on a hook!!
