Topic: FOUND: squid lure on coquitlam river |

Hi everyone,
Was walking down on the coquitlam river today and found a squid lure that I'd like to return to its original owner, personally. Normally I keep the Christmas ornaments I find, but this one had several special features and I thought the rightful owner might want it back:
-A big weight to get down to depth and pull across the flow -two hooks, double the ability to grab onto a salmon by the mouth, back or tail -barbs left uncrimped so that the salmon won't get away once they're hooked
As I said, I'd like to return it to the owner, I'd even send it in the mail if an address is provided.
Best, Ryan

Hey you found my brass blue fox spinner! I hooked into a few good size steelies with that guy. Lucky for me my skill payed off as none of the fish got off that day. Musta dropped it lololol. Reminds me of the stave. I find huge hooks that are an inch and a half wifh centemeter barbs attached to tiny little squid looking jigs. Gives me a chuckle. If you ever need ocean gear just scavange the stave for an hour

How to be a stupid idiot,
1. use treble barbed hooks for steelhead 2. boast about it on the internet 3. thinking your "skill" landed them, its pretty hard to lose fish with those hooks

Smokin I was only kidding. I wrote the stupidest thing I could think of. Youre right, only an imbicile would do any of the things I listed. It's hard to tell over the internet because I can't speak with a sarcastic tone, sorrg to stir you.
