Just wondering if anyone has been up the Lost Creek FSR recently. I tried getting up to Salsbury lake today and the river has washed out the bridge on the FSR at about the 9.5km mark. Does anyone know if there is a way around or has anyone hiked in the rest of the way? I haven't been able to find anything online about how to get there, yet people are posting that they are getting there somehow. The road looks like it has been washed out for a long time. I wanted to try fishing it, yet there doesn't seem to be a way to get there.

No snow as far as I went.

Wish I could help more but last time I was up there was may 2 years ago and it was still snowed in.

I fish the shit out of this lake every year. I'm the one who posted most of the Google Earth photos as well. They took the bridge out because it was deemed Un safe to cross. There are a number of spots to launch. Try driving to the south end. There is a pull out to the left where you can camp. Follow the trail to the right and you can drag a boat to the lake. Also keep driving past that till you come to a clearing. You can see a path the the left. It's muddy as all he'll but I drag my boat thru there even when the bridge was up. Lots of little fish but there is the odd big one. I know. I caught one. The lake fishes better with gear in my opinion. I caught Walter this time last year. Weighed in at 4 pounds.
