I just got a car topper boat to do some fly fishing. Anyone recommend some family friendly lakes (that have cabin rentals) that offer decent fly fishing?

Roche Lake has camping and pretty nice cabins to rent. We usually do a family trip up there once a year.

Lake is pretty high and probably well on the way to be frozen now. Ahh I see from the web site the resort is closed and only opens May 1. Chironomide fishing when the lake turns over in May/June can be spectacular.

a good website to check out lakes in the Kamloops/merrit area is bigfishsmallhooks.com .
another being fishbc.com . click on sport fishing on the left border and go from there.
hope this helps anyone interested in exploring a bit.
