need to hit the vise soon and wondering what your goto flies are ?
Ive only got 2 on the fly and both were egg sucking leeches.
Im thinking on black/blue intruders..Im going to choose 6 flies to tie and use.

As promised Mike, here are a few for ya that I have done.
I recently got back on the bench after a long time away. When my father passed I lost most of interest and sold a lot of my stuff as I used to do a lot of tying with him, he was awesome !! Nowadays I still have my basics and I tie what is "new to me" in the way of new styles coming out.
I really like Scott Howells "squidro" patterns and a man from back east sent me a few of his where he added the squid "eyes" as well to this pattern.
Here are some of my copies, and although I think they will work this winter, they are nowhere even close to the originals when it comes to finesse.

ya those squidros are cool..ive tried to tie some last winter with the meager supplies i had..its not a easy tie for sure..the poacher is a great one too..(especially at the clux)but I can never make decent eyes..

You ever go hiking down the hill behind the ball diamond ?? I haven't fished up there for years now but besides the Q this is where I liked to go sometimes, very peaceful place and WILD acrobatic fish.

yup i sure have !! Ive gone in their up river and down to the ocean last winter a couple times..5min walk from home..but didnt hook into anything..usualy go to quatse or my fav is actually the cluxewe ! this winter i want to explore the nahwitti,walkawas and the goodspeed abit more
