An average Kok outta Green.Good lake if your in the area next open water season give green a try.Best spot is east of emerald bay near the middle.Cheers.

Hey, which Green Lake are you talking about ( only know of one, and thats in Whistler) and what do you use to catch Kokes? Like, do you need a boat or what?
I mostly fly-fish, but i do spinning too, but mostly fly.

The green lake I am talking about is off of hwy 97 near 100 Mile House.To your second question as a general rule you will need a boat to catch Kok's as they are an open/deeper water fish unlike most trout strains which relate to structure,shoals,drop-offs ect.However in the early spring,before water temp rises above 10 degrees C a CONCENTRATED cronnie or mayfly hatch can bring them near shore and as a result be available to shore fishers but I wouldn't go to a lake hoping to luck out and be there at such a time.Kokanee are caught on wedding bands,small spoons(dick-nite,Needle fish)with a SMALL peice of worm or a maggot.Dodgers are very effective as a attractor as is the time tested Ford fender to name a few.Cheers.
