what season is the stealhaed
come on my grandpa just came from israel and im only 12 plz reply and tell me where the best places to fish for steelhaed are i wanna show him some real action fishing.!

go to "trip planner", select "steelhead" and click "find"
you will get a list of all the places known to produce steelhead. look under different sections of vedder river.
as for the season - it is still early for steelhead. usually it is january-march. some people do ok on fraser using bar rigs with yellow spinners.

if you actually refer to fishing for steelhead in fraser - no i don't. i am not a big fan of bar fishing. i would rather cast a fly or spincast or float fish on a smaller river, ex. vedder.
but on several occasions i chatted with guides (folks from sts are very helpful) and they repeated couple times that bar fishing for steelhead near mission produces when the season is right. my understanding is that fraser already have steelheads going up. but i never tried it in fraser myself. they mentioned using large yellow spinners with red dots and white/silver wings.

Same as me, I like spine and fly fishing more. Do you know how to catch cutthroat in lower fraser?
