Could anyone tell me how to take a bus from Surrey to Sasmat lake? I check the bus route on the web site, but no help at all. It doesn't say anything

I used their trip planner:

http://tripplanning.translink.bc.ca/hiwire?.a=iTripPlanning

to attempt to plan a route from Guildford (you didn't say where in Surrey) to anywhere in the Belcarra area and it didn't come up with anything. Might be an odyssey that takes all day and 3 or 4 transfers. You'd have to get to New West station, then up into Coquitlam, then west to Ioco Road, then there's a Community Shuttle C26 that goes out towards Sasamat. Sounds like you'd be better off getting a ride. :-(

If you can get to Buntzen, you might want to try that lake. The fishing was better at Buntzen then Sasamat this year.

I think both lakes are good. And thank you to your information.
